It is often cultivated as ground cover due to its spreading habit and attractive flowers. Wedelia trilobata is a low-growing, spreading plant that forms dense mats or carpets of foliage. It sends out long, trailing stems that root at nodes as they touch the ground, aiding in its vigorous spread.
