Sunflower Chocolat (Helianthus annuus) : Earliest flowering, well branched.
Sunflowers belong in every garden. With their impressive, large flowers and stems, they hide unattractive backgrounds. They provide valuable cut flowers and are used as bird feed in autumn.
The Chocolat variety is the earliest sunflower in our range. It grows to a height of approx. 100 cm, has a dark disc and red-brown tongue flowers. It forms a nice contrast to the yellow varieties.
In addition to field sowing, pre-cultivation is also possible.
Chocolat needs a nutrient-rich soil in a sunny location and has a high water requirement.
