Light

• Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or partial shade.
• Outdoors: Place in a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade.
• Indoors: Position near a south- or east-facing window with plenty of light. If light is insufficient, supplement with grow lights.

Watering

• Keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings.
• During the growing season (spring and summer), water regularly. In winter, reduce watering but don’t let the soil dry out completely.
• Use well-draining soil to prevent waterlogging and root rot.

Temperature

• Thrives in temperatures between 60°F and 75°F (15°C to 24°C).
• Protect from frost and extreme cold, as it is sensitive to freezing temperatures.

Soil

• Use a well-draining bonsai soil mix with a balance of organic and inorganic materials.
• Adding sand or perlite to the mix can improve drainage.

Fertilizing

• Feed during the growing season with a balanced bonsai fertilizer (e.g., 10-10-10) once every two weeks.
• Use a diluted solution to avoid over-fertilization. Do not fertilize during the dormant winter months.
