The nasturtium is a traditional plant in the cottage garden. It can cover large areas, but can also be grown as a climbing plant or decorate boxes and tubs. The double and double flowers in yellow and red tones glow above the green foliage. Flowers and young fruits are edible.

Nasturtium can be sown directly from April.

Sunny locations with lean, well-drained soils are best.
