Delphinium is one of the most striking and beautiful flowers and prunings of summer due to its bright colors. It is very stable with strong stems. Its flower panicles are very thick and even. It is particularly suitable for windy locations. Sowing takes place in the cold frame, cover thickly with soil, press on, keep moist. Prick individually later. A pruning immediately after flowering approx. 10 cm above the ground promotes the re-pile.
