Ficus bonsai tree produce glossy, waxy leaves which are long lasting. They can feature aerial roots from the trunk and branches. It also lends itself to formal upright, slanting, semi-cascade, twin-trunk, triple-truck and clasped to rock. Ficus bonsai trees are quite tolerant of low levels of light. Having said that, they should still be placed in a bright location.
