Epipremnum Mosstick S (H45cm)

Epipremnum, also known as Pothos Plant, features heart-shaped, glossy green leaves with variations depending on the variety (some have yellow or white variegation). The moss stick supports the plant, encouraging it to grow vertically, which allows the plant to produce larger, more mature leaves over time. As a climbing plant, Pothos uses aerial roots to attach to the moss stick.

This plant is fast-growing and can reach a height of several feet when trained on a moss stick. In indoor environments, it is typically grown as a vine, either trailing from hanging baskets or climbing a support.

Plant Care Guide:

• Light: Pothos thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. However, in lower light, variegated varieties may lose some of their color and revert to greener leaves. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can cause the leaves to scorch.

• Water: Water the plant when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Pothos prefers slightly moist soil but can tolerate periods of drought. Be sure not to overwater, as this can lead to root rot. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings and ensure the pot has good drainage..

• Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a general-purpose houseplant mix or one designed for aroids. Good drainage is key to preventing waterlogged soil.

• Training on the Moss Stick: The moss stick provides support for the plant to climb. As the plant grows, gently tie the vines to the moss stick using soft plant ties or twine. Mist the moss stick occasionally to keep it damp, which will encourage the plant’s aerial roots to attach and climb.

• Pruning: Regularly prune the plant to maintain its shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any yellow or damaged leaves, and trim the vines to prevent them from becoming too leggy.
