Monstera Obliqua - Size(P14-H20cm)

Monstera obliqua is commonly referred to as the Swiss cheese plant due to the unique appearance of its leaves. The leaves are large, heart-shaped, and dark green, with holes and splits that form as the plant matures. These fenestrations are thought to help the plant adapt to the low-light conditions of its native rainforest habitat by allowing more light to pass through the leaves to reach the forest floor. This plant grows as a vine in its natural habitat, climbing trees and other structures with its aerial roots. However, in cultivation, it is usually grown as a potted houseplant.

Plant Care:

Light: Monstera obliqua prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. 

Watering: Water your Monstera obliqua when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Make sure the pot has proper drainage, as overwatering can lead to root rot.

Fertilization: Fertilize your Monstera obliqua every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Support: Provide a support structure, such as a moss pole or trellis, for your Monstera obliqua to climb. This will help it grow upward and reduce the risk of the stems becoming tangled.

Toxicity: Monstera obliqua is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
