Salad rocket (Eruca sativa) :
Peanut-like taste, very short cultivation time.
Salad rocket or arugula is a rediscovered leafy vegetable with a very short cultivation time. The small, radish-like leaves have a peanut-like, piquant taste when harvested young. Arugula is suitable as a spicy addition to salads or even as a salad.
Arugula can be carried in bowls like cress. It is relatively undemanding. When sowing outdoors, attention should be paid to infestation with earth fleas and snails. Thoroughly water the seed so that the coating mass of the seed pills dissolves.
