Calendula are long blooming, colorful and grateful summer flowers. The Orange King variety captivates with its huge, double, orange flowers. It is very easy to put on and also tolerates some drought. Thanks to their sturdy stems, the plants are ideal for cutting.
From March onwards, sowing can take place outdoors. If the stand is too close, the plants should be separated. A pruning after the first flowering stimulates a new shoot.
Calendula are undemanding flowers that grow on any soil in a sunny to partially shaded location.
